Hi! My name is Erin Gardner, and I’m a 3rd grade teacher in Branchville, NJ. I live in Pennsylvania, about ten minutes from the New Jersey border, in a town called Dingmans Ferry. We live in the Pocono Mountains, right next to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. My (totally awesome) husband’s name is Dan, we have a three year old son named Caleb, and an 8 month old daughter named Penelope. We also have Caleb’s wingman, our dog Pono.
This is my fifth year teaching. I taught special education for my first two years of teaching, the first being on the island of Molokai, in Hawaii. After I graduated college, my husband and I moved there to teach. Since then, I have been teaching 3rd grade in New Jersey. I am a little more than halfway done with my EDIM program, and I’m looking forward to this class and the ones I have remaining.
